What is Hypnosis?

The Art of Psychic Surgery

History of Hypnotism

Hypnosis is a method of healing, also known as mesmerism or animal magnetism, discovered by Anton Mesmer in 1774. Originally a process of using ‘magnetic fluid’ or energy to positively affect a person’s energy field, it went on to develop more psychological and instinctual techniques to effectively reprogram and heal a person’s unconscious mind, resulting in healed emotional, mental and physical states. Hypnosis has quickly and successfully healed many physical and emotional disturbances and has even been used as anesthesia for surgery.

Why it Works

Beneath all physical phenomena you experience is a field of energy imprinted within your unconscious mind. The majority of actions and experiences people have are ‘unconscious,’ meaning below the veil of awareness and conscious choice. Hypnosis accesses the root programs and conditioning that create and automate a person’s life experience and creates autonomy by changing what is undesirable and habitual into choices that are positively intentional and empowering. By consciously changing your energy and beliefs, you effectively change all else. Hypnosis is one of the most quick and powerful healing methods because of its ability to change the mind and core beliefs.

The Process

Hypnosis comes from the root ‘hypnos’ meaning sleep. A hypnotic session feels like a dream-like, near sleep state of consciousness. Each Hypnotic experience starts with an induction, creating a sense of deep relaxation in which you access a theta brain wave state. In this meditative trance state, your desired pre-arranged suggestions for new thoughts and life experiences are then cleverly planted like seeds into a fertile new garden, while the undesirable weeds of disempowering beliefs or traumas are potently and gently uprooted. You are always aware of what is happening during a session and maintain your free will.
